25th Anniversary Capital Campaign Announced

Moravian Hall Square looks forward in 2013 to the celebration of 25 years as a continuing care retirement community.  Giving has been a part of this community since before the doors opened in 1988.  People invested their time, talent and treasure to make this place a community filled with spirit.

Our community family enjoys varied recreational interests which have overtaxed our communal gathering spaces.  We are out of room!  A project team met and collaborated on a plan to expand our gathering spaces and refresh some areas as we celebrate our Silver Jubilee Anniversary!  Included in our campaign project are a new covered driveway entrance, garden patio and walkway, refreshed lobby, expanded “hub” lounge, larger library with balcony, refurbished lounge and a rooftop patio.

To meet, enrich and enhance the lives of our residents, we are pleased to launch a capital campaign that encompasses all these enhancements entitled ‘As You Like It’.

Moravian Hall Square of Nazareth, PA, Inc. recently became Morningstar Senior Living, Inc. as it expands its services to seniors.

Moravian Hall Square of Nazareth, PA, Inc. has been in the process of developing a second campus for continuing care cottages named Heritage Village and is also in the process of establishing a new home care agency. Both will be wholly owned by this new corporation – Morningstar Senior Living, Inc.

The name Moravian Hall Square has been associated with the existing Life Care Retirement Community campus in Nazareth for 24 years and will remain with the current campus to avoid confusion in the future as the Heritage Village cottage project and home care agency are completed.

Heritage Village submitted plans in 2010 to Upper Nazareth Township and expects to continue the approval process, with an estimated date of 2013 to begin construction. The site is about a mile from the current campus.
